Capita di imbattersi in file con estensioni simili a quelle usate dal Microsoft System Information ma che non sono da esso dipendenti o visualizzabili: sono i file .nfo. Come possiamo leggerli correttamente? Con questi due programmini gratuiti che sono assimilabili ad un notepad un po’ più evoluto:

NFOPad (giunto alla versione 1.4.1 e disponibile anche nel deposito softpedia)

NFOpad is a small but flexible nfo viewer/text editor. It is more or less a copy of Microsoft’s Notepad but with some extra settings, and support for nfo files. The file extension is used to determine whether to use an ANSI or ASCII font.

Some features:
URL follow, colors and fonts can be changed, shell integration, extension determines font, printing, searching text, always on top option, word wrap option, goto line, drag-n-drop.
